Pupils from both sides of the
Green Line will today, Friday, create a ‘Circle of Love’ around Old
Nicosia to raise money for children with special needs.
No immediate changes to road tax
procedures will take place, despite recent proclamations by the
authorities that they would be implemented by the beginning of the new
tax year.
The winter sales were officially
launched on Wednesday with discounts of up to 70% on clothes, shoes,
home appliances and furniture, amid hopes they will revamp a moribund
retail market.
